Hey moms, Kayla here with another park review!
Dick Blake Park
Address: 398 Gus’s Hipp Blvd, Rockledge
Today we explored Dick Blake Park in Rockledge. I’ve driven past this parks countless of times and never stopped to check it out. The park sits back off the road so it is pretty quiet expect for the train sounds off in the distance. The park has a soccer field so bring a ball or some fun yard games. Next to the playground is also a skate park, which could be a huge plus to some!
Pros:
a small sunshade covers the play structure
music theme with drums and bells
slides and see-saw
toddler approved rock wall
two swings and two infant swings
rope merry go round structure
Cons:
a lot of the interactive pieces were out of reach for a toddler
a smaller playground with not a lot of equipment
strange vibes. Lots of cars parked with people in them near the playground and through the park itself.
Honestly, this park isn’t my favorite. We still had fun, but having that “I’m being watched feeling” kept our visit short. Next time we will probably go to Cross Bridge Church and play there instead.
