From dazzling boat parades to festive light displays, we’ve rounded up the must-see holiday events happening right here in Brevard County for 2025, complete with dates, times, and links to help you plan your season!

 


1. 41st Annual Festival of Trees (Melbourne) 

Step into a dazzling forest of holiday creativity while supporting a great cause.

  • Date: Saturday, November 22, 2025

  • Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM 

  • Description: Hosted annually by the Junior League of the Space Coast, this event features hundreds of designer-decorated Christmas trees, wreaths, and holiday displays available for purchase. It’s a beautiful place to get inspiration, take holiday photos, and enjoy a festive lunch.

2. Melbourne Downtown Melbourne Tree Lighting Ceremony and Candlelight Shopping

Get into the festive spirit where the fun truly kicks off for the season!

  • Time: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Tree Lighting at dusk)

  • Description: Delight in an evening of shopping and holiday cheer in downtown Melbourne, featuring a tree lighting ceremony and festive atmosphere.

3. Palm Bay Holiday Light Parade

Head south for a glittering parade that lights up the night!

  • Time: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Parade starts at 6:00 PM)

  • Description: Enjoy the highly anticipated annual light parade featuring dozens of decorated floats, emergency vehicles, and marching groups.

4. BCFAPA 2nd Annual Snow Party

Experience “snow” (foam party) at the park!

  • Date: Sunday, December 7, 2025

  • Description: Enjoy a fun-filled afternoon with a foam party, vendors and more! Even better, this event supports local foster and adoptive families.

5. Holiday Boat Parade at Cocoa Riverfront Park

Experience the lights from Cocoa Riverfront Park. 

  • Date: Friday, December 12, 2025

  • Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

  • Description: Enjoy food vendors, hot cocoa, and the judge’s stand!  The City of Cocoa’s is also hosting Classical Movement Collective for their performance of “The Nutcracker” before the parade, and the tree lighting ceremony & family-friendly holiday movie after the parade!

6. Titusville: North Brevard Christmas Parade

A beloved tradition in North Brevard featuring local schools, businesses, and community groups.

  • Date: Saturday, December 13, 2025

  • Time: 6:00 PM

  • Description: Enjoy a classic morning parade filled with festive floats, marching bands, costumed characters, and of course, a special appearance by Santa Claus!

7. Cocoa Beach: Surfing Santas

Kick off Christmas Eve like a true Floridian!

  • Date: Wednesday, December 24, 2025 (Christmas Eve)

  • Time: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM

  • Description: This world-famous event sees hundreds of people dressed as Santa Claus (and other holiday characters) hitting the waves. It’s a perfect way to start your Christmas Eve.

Insider Tips for Brevard Holiday Fun

  • Arrive Early: For parades and tree lightings, arriving at least 30 minutes early ensures you get a good viewing spot, especially with little ones.

  • Dress Warm (Florida Style!): Even in Florida, December evenings can get chilly, especially near the water. Bring a light jacket or cozy blanket.
