In 2016, Morgan, a mom and nearly lifelong martial artist, purchased an abandoned karate academy and turned it into a thriving school with nearly 200 students and four commercial vans transporting school children from Suntree and Viera. After a brief pause in 2021 to focus on motherhood, Morgan continued to grow in martial arts, competing, teaching workshops, and even landing a role in the upcoming action film Black Creek as the villain’s right-hand accomplice.
In January 2024, Morgan seized the opportunity to move into a dream space attached to a 74-acre park, launching Martial Methods, a re-imagined martial arts academy near Viera East. Now, with a focus on personal growth through martial arts, Morgan nurtures leadership skills and self-confidence in students, as well as schedules outdoor training sessions through monthly “Park Days” for her students.
Martial Methods also hosts special summer camps, daytime classes for homeschoolers, and is proud to be a Direct-Pay Step Up Scholarship provider, ensuring all students have access to top-tier martial arts instruction with no out-of-pocket tuition costs. Witnessing the personal growth and pride from each student’s success is definitely our favorite thing about what we do!
